Hi. I'm James Morgan
If you are visiting from jamesmorgan.ca "Desktop Browser", welcome to the integrated browser feature of Dustin Brett's DaedalOS project. I hold immense respect for this project, and you can explore its extensive capabilities in modern browsing on its GitHub repository. The initial design and creation of this website (within-a-website) marked a significant milestone for me. In the early 2010s, creating an HTML5 website and hosting it on a personal web server, especially within a secure virtual environment like ESXi, was a notable achievement compared to desktop applications like VirtualBox.
Over the past three decades, I've meticulously curated a suite of low-energy, high-performance, and carbon-efficient technologies. While my initial endeavors were driven by passion and curiosity, they provided me with a platform to delve deep into the core of technology, honing my expertise.
The rapid advancements in AI have opened up numerous possibilities, transforming tasks that once seemed daunting into achievable goals. My current focus is on transitioning to a containerized environment, integrating applications such as Organizr, Home Assistant, Uptime Kuma, NGINX, Joplin, and other open-source tools into a Rancher setup.
The pace and diversity of technological growth today are truly astounding. While this site initially highlighted my contributions to the OSx86 project and showcased advanced debugging methods on WordPress, it has evolved to demonstrate my proficiency in leveraging contemporary technology. My aim remains to use this desktop web browsing environment as a sandbox for innovation and development.
As a Solution Architect with over 15 years in the IT field, I also offer my services as an IT Contractor. For business inquiries and collaborations, please reach out through the contact details provided below.
